Our staff are committed to developing excellence in student outcomes within the framework of a broad and balanced curriculum. As well everyday classes, our staff demonstrate their dedication by providing extra curricular activities for students both inside and out of school hours.
Teaching and support staff actively participate in professional learning and development opportunities to further enhance their performance. As a result of their expertise, teachers from Orange High School are often selected to undertake HSC marking each year in a range of subjects and have also been selected for the prestigious Minister's Award for Excellence in Teaching - the highest possible honour of professional recognition for teachers in NSW.

Year Advisors & our Head Teacher of Wellbeing oversee the wellbeing of their year group and monitor acacdemic progress of students. They are the first point of call for students and parents in regard to wellbeing issues. Orange High School also has the services of a school counsellor five days a week.
